DAISHI DANCE

Sapporo-based DJ and producer DAISHI DANCE brings uplifting house and dance music to clubs across Japan. His melodic productions, built around piano and strings, began with the P.I.A.N.O. set in 2006. The the Ghibli set series of house covers became a major hit, and his albums have sold more than one million copies in total. Melancholic melodies and collaborations with traditional Japanese instruments are hallmarks of his sound. He has produced tracks including BIGBANG's HARU HARU and HEAVEN and written for artists in Japan and abroad. Beyond clubs, he creates the CLUB XXX series, transforming museums and planetariums into dance spaces, and streams performances from unusual locations.
